Cybersecurity Awareness is a literacy course that focuses on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities within an organization's technical and personnel environment. The individual is considered the weakest link and the primary vulnerability within an organization as it pertains to cyber threats. Technical means to improve security are not enough. Personal awareness of the cybersecurity landscape is considered to be a much more effective approach than technical measures alone. Cybersecurity Awareness seeks to equip individuals with the information they need to protect themselves and their organization's assets from loss or harm.
